In reference to 'The Histories of the Several Regiments and Battalions from North Carolina in the Great War of 1861 - 65' mentioned in previous emails, I have this set of books Volumes I through V. They were given to me by my Father when I lived in Greensboro many years ago. I would very much appreciate hearing from anyone who has knowledge of their availability and/or value.
Many thanks for your time and response ...

You are getting better.
Now that you have entries for John Hosea Kerr and John Hosea Kerr,jr, how about an aritcle about Mrs.John Hosea Kerr.jr??You have articles BY her,
Mary Hinton Duke Kerr. She was quite a historian in her own right.

Great suggestions. While we had the other two articles ready and with permission to publish from UNC Press's Dictionary of North Carolina Biography, we do not have articles for Mrs. John Hosea Kerr, Jr. or Mary HInton Duke Kerr. We will put them on our list of articles to be written. Thanks for the feedback!

Biographies of John Hosea Kerr (Senior) and John Hosea Kerr, Jr. are now available. Unfortunately, we do not have an article on John Hosea Kerr, III. If anyone is interested in writing one, please contact us!

Hi, I'm back.

Would it be possible to scan in the five volumns of
"The Histories of the Several Regiments and Battalions from North Carolina in The Great War of 1861-65." Edited by Walter Clark
I doubt if there are many people who know of their existance.
Thank you for your consideration,
Julian Smith

Another great suggestion! "The Histories of the Several Regiments and Battalions from North Carolina in The Great War of 1861-65" is already available online through ECU's Digital Collections(http://digital.lib.ecu.edu/historyfiction/item.aspx?id=cr3) and the Internet Archive (http://archive.org/details/historiesofsever03clar). I hope this information helps. Thank you!
