Cairn with Fall Leaves

Taken in the fall, this color photograph is of a cairn at Grandfather mountain made of 74 polished stones from Scottish clans.  Cairns are used as landmarks or memorials. This cairn honors the immigrant ancestors who settled in the Cape Fear Valley.
