Thank you for posting your question. The NC Wildlife Resources Commission recently updated their Web site and it has a wonderful new look! Unfortunately our links to the individual profiles all broke, however. I just finished updating all the links to those profiles that are still live on their site, however.

Your question alerted me to the fact that our links had broken, so I thank you very much for that!

Let us know if there is anything else we can do.

Best,

Thank you for the suggestion. We will add it to the list and hope to find someone knowledgeable about them to write an entry on them for us. In the meantime, this site has information about shortfin mako sharks: http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/fish/gallery/descript/shortfinmako/shortfinmako.html.

Good luck in your research!

Thank you for the suggestion! We'll add it to the list of topics to add.

In the meantime, the NC Division of Marine Fisheries has a page on blue crabs at: http://www.ncfisheries.net/bluecrab/index.html.

Good luck on your paper!
