| Swift Creek | name given Sandy Creek in Hilliardston community, N Nash County. Sandy Creek, which see, rises in SE Vance County. As Swift Creek, it flows SE across Nash County and into Edgecombe County, where it enters Tar River. Swift Creek appears on the Moseley map, 1733. |
