Lassiters Mill Pondon Crabtree Creek in central Wake County within NW city limits of Raleigh. Present dam built in 1907-1908 by Mary Lassiter; pond named for her. A mill built on the site in 1778 by Isaac Hunter burned about 1823.
Lassiters Millscommunity and former post office, SE Randolph County on Uwharrie River. Mill built in 1845 on the W side of the river was moved to the E side in 1925.
