Fork River Ridge	NW Transylvania County, extends SE from Fork River Bald between Daniel Ridge Creek and Right Fork Davidson River.
Fork Swamp	rises in SW Beaufort County in Reedy Pocosin and flows S into Craven County, where it enters Palmetta Swamp. Named because an adjacent road forks, one road leading to Pinetown and the other route to Washington, N.C.
