| Smileys Falls | S Harnett County in Cape Fear River at the mouth of Upper Little River. A succession of ledges of rock there drops the water from 6 to 18 inches in most cases, but there is one fall of 4 ft. and another of 5 ft. Mentioned in Fulton's survey of North Carolina rivers in 1819. |
