W Haywood County in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. A Balsam Mountain peak, alt. 6,122, near lat. 35°40'25" N., long. 83°10'27" W. Known briefly in the 1890s as Nibb's Knob after a member of the U.S. Geological Survey party attempted to name the peak for himself.
