Crane Branch

rises in central Madison County and flows N into Revere Creek.

Crane Creek

rises in S Cherokee County and flows SW into Nottely River.

Crane Creek

rises in S Rowan County and flows NE into High Rock Lake (Yadkin River). Mentioned in local records as early as 1728. Appears on the Collet map, 1770, as Cane Creek, but as Crane Creek on the Price map, 1808. Crane Creek has three tributaries, all called Crane Creek; one of them, near Salisbury, is sometimes called Town Creek.
