Cremation tower burns and falls at end of Brahman funeral

A nine-roofed tower burns and falls at end of the Brahman's funeral on July 23, 1986. The tower falls to the left into the elevated platform through which the corpse was removed and placed in the bull figure for cremation.The tall tower, adorned to represent the cosmos, is torched following the burning of the hollow animal figure in which the corpse is moved for final cremation.
