McDougal Terrace clean-up campaign

Men, women, and children using shovels and brooms to sweep a street during a clean-up campaign at McDougal Terrace in Durham, North Carolina, March, 1968. Barnes took pictures of the locals, volunteers, and the North Carolina Fund organizers. His subjects also included landscapes and homes.
