Murals on a University building

A multi-story building is decorated with pre-Columbian motifs. A large stone fountain with a stylized face is at the base of the building. The National Autonomous University of Mexico was founded in 1551, making it the second oldest university in the Western hemisphere, after Peru's National University of San Marcos. It is the largest university in Latin American and is considered one of the world's elite universities. This building is the University's main library.
