Place Description
Hulme Hill (Hull Hill)

a low ridge in N central Caldwell County on the N side of Yadkin River. Named for Maj. William Hulme, planter and legislator who settled there in 1807.

Hump Mountain

W Avery County. Alt. 5,587.

Humpback Mountain

on the Avery-McDowell county line at the E end of Dividing Ridge. Alt. approx. 4,200. Known by the Cherokee Indians as Koonasoga.

Humphrey

community in SE Duplin County.

Hungry Creek

rises in E Haywood County and flows NW into East Fork Pigeon River.
